Col Sharon Dubow was born and raised in Freehold, New Jersey. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University in May 2000. She reported to Officer Candidate School in October 2000 and was subsequently commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in December 2000. Upon graduation from The Basic School, she attended the Ground Supply Officers Course, Camp Johnson, North Carolina. She reported to Marine Wing Support Squadron 374, Twentynine Palms, California in October 2001 for duty as the Squadron Supply Officer.
In February 2004, First Lieutenant Dubow reported to Recruiting Station New Jersey for duty as the Officer Selection Officer. Following this assignment, Captain Dubow attended the U.S. Army Logistics Management College, Fort Lee, Virginia where she graduated from the Combined Logistics Captains’ Career Course. Upon graduation in July 2007, she was assigned to 2d Supply Battalion in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. While assigned to 2d Supply Battalion, she served in a variety of billets to include SASSY Management Unit (SMU) OIC, Supply Company Executive Officer, and Supply Company Commander. From December 2007 to September 2008, she deployed with Combat Logistics Battalion – 6 as the Headquarters Company Commander in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 08.1.
In July 2009, Captain Dubow was reassigned to Fourth Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. She performed the duties of the S4 until April 2010, when she was frocked to the rank of Major to serve as the Battalion Executive Officer. In February 2012, Major Dubow was reassigned to the Eastern Recruiting Region, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island for duty as the Region Assistant for Officer Procurement.
Major Dubow reported to 2d Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB) in August 2014, where she served simultaneously as the Material Readiness Officer and G4 Lead Planner for Exercises Bold Alligator 14, African Lion 15, Cold Response 16, and Bold Alligator 16. She also participated in Exercise Judicious Response 15 and 17, where 2d MEB earned certification as a Joint Task Force – Capable headquarters from United States Africa Command. From August 2016 to June 2017, she served as the Deputy, AC/S G4.
Major Dubow reported to III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) Command Element (CE) in July 2017 to serve as the III MEF CE Supply Officer. In June 2018, she assumed command as the Inspector-Instructor, Combat Logistics Battalion 23.
LtCol Dubow relinquished command in July 2020 and transferred to Recruit Training Regiment, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island where she served as the Regimental Executive Officer until June 2022. From July 2022 to May 2023, she studied at the Air War College and earned a Masters degree in Strategic Studies. Col Dubow was promoted to her current rank on 1 May 2023. From May 2023 to May 2024, she served as the Assistant Chief of Staff, G4, Marine Forces Reserve.
Col Dubow’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal with three Gold Stars and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two Gold Stars.
