PERSONALLY ‐ PROCURED MOVE (PPM) CHECKLIST AND EXPENSE CERTIFICATION
Submitting your claim
When you have completed your self-move and have all of your PPM claim documents completed, then you must submit your claim for payment processing. The easiest way to accomplish this is to submit your claim via MOL (tutorial link below).

IF you have MOL issues - contact your DMO for assistance.
IF there is not a DMO near you, then email your entire claim to: logcom.g8tvcbclaims@usmc.mil.
The Basic PPM claim consists of the following documents:
1) DD FORM 2278 – Must be signed by you AND your counselor.
2) Rental Contract or Vehicle Registration – Depending on how you moved your property, you may need both.
3) DD FORM 1351 -2 – You must include Email, Phone Number and your Signature.
4) Weight Tickets – You must be able to show the empty AND full weight of the vehicle used to transport your property.
5) PPM Checklist – List all expenses related to the move, except food and hotels.
6) PCS Orders or DMO Endorsement Letter
7) Authorization Statement – If you borrowed a vehicle to move your property, you will need a signed statement from the owner of that vehicle stating that they authorized you to use their vehicle for your move.
The Basic NTS claim consists of the following documents:
1) DD1351-2
2) DMO Authorization Letter
3) Orders
4) Vehicle Registration or Title
5) Paid Receipts or Payment Summary
6) Storage Contract
The Basic POV storage claims consists of the following documents:
1) DD1351-2
2) DMO Authorization Letter
3) Orders
4) Vehicle Registration or Title
5) Paid Receipts or Payment Summary
6) Storage Contract
