Major General Keith D. Reventlow assumed command of Marine Corps Logistics Command on July 18, 2022.
In 1990, 2ndLt Reventlow was commissioned in the Marine Corps after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western Connecticut State University.
He has served at all levels of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force with staff assignments throughout. His key billet assignments include: Chief of Staff, Marine Corps Logistics Command; Operations Officer, 2D Marine Logistics Group; East Division Chief, United States Transportation Command; team lead for Supply and Maintenance, and Installations and Logistics Department, Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps; Deputy Senior Advisor, 1st Iraqi Division, Habbaniyah, Iraq; Logistics Officer, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit; Logistics Officer, 6th Marine Regiment; Instructor, Logistics Operations School; Operations Officer, Marine Expeditionary Unit Service Support Group 26; Motor Transport Officer, 12th Marine Regiment and Motor Transport Officer, Marine Wing Support Squadron-274.
Maj. Gen. Reventlow has commanded at the Company, Battalion and Regimental levels. From 1994 to 1996 he commanded Headquarters and Service Company, then Alpha Company, 8th Motor Transport Battalion. In 2007, as a LtCol, he served as the acting commanding officer for Combat Logistics Regiment 17. In 2008, he assumed command of Combat Logistics Battalion 13 and completed a seven-month deployment to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in 2009. He commanded Defense Logistics Agency Distribution San Joaquin, California, from 2013 to 2016. He then served as the Assistant Deputy Commandant, Installations and Logistics (Plans) in July 2017. From 2017 through 2020, he served as the Commanding General, 3rd Marine Logistics Group in Okinawa, Japan. Prior to assuming command at Marine Corps Logistics Command, he served as commander Defense Logistics Agency-Distribution from 2020 through June 2022.
Maj. Gen. Reventlow’s military education includes; The Basic School, Motor Transport Officer Course, Combined Logistics Officer’s Advance Course, Command and Staff College, Air War College non-resident and Joint Professional Military Education Phase II.
Maj. Gen. Reventlow’s personal awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal with oak leaf cluster; Bronze Star Medal; Meritorious Service Medal with three Gold Stars; the Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal with one Gold Star; Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal; and Combat Action Ribbon.
