MajGen Keith D. Reventlow assumed command of Marine Corps Logistics Command on July 18, 2022.
He was born in New Rochelle, New York, was raised in Newtown, Connecticut and was commissioned in January 1990 through the Platoon Leaders Course.
He has commanded at every level and element of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force with a broad range of assignments.
As a captain, he served as company commander for Headquarters and Service Company and Alpha Company, 8th Motor Transport Battalion. As a lieutenant colonel, he served as acting commanding officer of Combat Logistics Regiment 17, and subsequently assumed command of Combat Logistics Battalion 13, completing a seven-month deployment to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. As a colonel, he commanded the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Center San Joaquin in Tracy, California.
As a general officer, he commanded 3rd Marine Logistics Group in Okinawa, Japan, and Defense Logistics Agency Distribution.
His key staff assignments include serving as headquarters commandant, 22d Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of Operation Desert Storm, motor transport officer for Marine Wing Support Squadron 274 and 12th Marine Regiment; operations officer, Marine Expeditionary Unit Service Support Group 26, where he participated in Operations Silver Wake and Guardian Retrieval; formal schools instructor, Logistics Operations School; logistics officer, 6th Marine Regiment; logistics officer, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; team lead for supply and maintenance, Installations and Logistics Department, Headquarters Marine Corps; deputy senior advisor, 1st Iraqi Division, Habbaniyah, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; group chief, East Division, U.S. Transportation Command; operations officer, 2nd Marine Logistics Group; and chief of staff, Marine Corps Logistics Command.
As a general officer, he served as the assistant deputy commandant for Installations and Logistics (Plans).
His military education includes The Basic School, Motor Transport Officer Course, Combined Logistics Officer Advanced Course, Advanced Logistics Operations Course, Command and Staff College, Penn State University Marine Corps Logistics Education Program, Air War College (nonresident), and Joint Professional Military Education Phase II.
MajGen Reventlow graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, he earned a Master of Arts in history from American Military University, and holds executive certificates in supply chain management from Penn State University.
His personal awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with three gold stars, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with one gold star, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon.
