2D Force Storage Battalion (2D FSB), Marine Force Storage Command is based at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany in Georgia. 2D FSB executes warehousing, care of supplies in storage, and limited field level maintenance for Marine Corps ground equipment and collateral materiel in the custody of Marine Force Storage Command in order to enable Marine Corps Logistics Command's globally responsive materiel support to the total force.

   

2D FSB Tasks

>>  Receipt, inspect, account for, issue, store and manage the Care-in-Storage Program for Stores Account Code 3  (SAC3) Principle End Items (PEI) and small arms components.
>>  Execute Supply Support Program.
>>  Assemble and disassemble Collateral Material (CM), Supply System.
>>  Responsibility Items (SSRI), Sets, Kits, and Chests in support of Marine Corps requirements
>>  Provide retail, intermediate and consumer supply support to Base and tenant organizations.
>>  Provide technical assistance to Marine Corps Forces Reserve (MARFORs) West.
>>  Develop and monitor quality control programs.
