Colonel Sharon Dubow assumed duties as Commanding Officer, Marine Force Storage Command, Marine Corps Logistics Command, in May 2024.
She was commissioned a second lieutenant in December 2000 upon completion of Officer Candidate School. Following graduation from The Basic School, she attended the Ground Supply Officers Course at Camp Johnson, North Carolina. In October 2001, she reported to Marine Wing Support Squadron 374, Twentynine Palms, California, where she served as the Squadron Supply Officer.
In February 2004, she reported to Recruiting Station New Jersey, where she served as the Officer Selection Officer. Following this assignment, she attended the Combined Logistics Captains’ Career Course at the U.S. Army Logistics Management College, Fort Lee, Virginia, graduating in July 2007. She was then assigned to 2d Supply Battalion, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, where she served in a variety of billets including SASSY Management Unit Officer-in-Charge, Supply Company Executive Officer, and Supply Company Commander. From December 2007 to September 2008, she deployed with Combat Logistics Battalion 6 as Headquarters Company Commander in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 08.1.
In July 2009, she reported to 4th Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, where she served as the Battalion S-4 until April 2010. She was frocked to the rank of Major and served as Battalion Executive Officer until February 2012, when she was reassigned to the Eastern Recruiting Region, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, for duty as the Region Assistant for Officer Procurement.
In August 2014, she reported to 2d Marine Expeditionary Brigade, where she served as the Material Readiness Officer and G-4 Lead Planner for Exercises Bold Alligator 14, African Lion 15, Cold Response 16, and Bold Alligator 16. She also participated in Exercise Judicious Response 15 and 17, supporting 2d MEB’s certification as a Joint Task Force–Capable headquarters from United States Africa Command. From August 2016 to June 2017, she served as Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff, G-4.
In July 2017, she reported to III Marine Expeditionary Force Command Element, where she served as III MEF Command Element Supply Officer. In June 2018, she assumed command as Inspector-Instructor, Combat Logistics Battalion 23.
In July 2020, she relinquished command and reported to Recruit Training Regiment, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, where she served as Regimental Executive Officer until June 2022. From July 2022 to May 2023, she attended the Air War College, earning a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies. She was promoted to Colonel on May 1, 2023, and subsequently reported to Marine Forces Reserve, where she served as Assistant Chief of Staff, G-4, from May 2023 to May 2024.
Colonel Dubow’s personal awards include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with three gold stars and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars.
