Executive Officer, Marine Force Storage Command
Maj. Keith Q. Rudolf

Major Rudolf was born and raised in Batesville, Indiana. Following graduation from Batesville High School he enlisted in the Marine Corps and completed recruit training aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California.  He subsequently reported to United States Army Quartermasters School aboard Fort Lee, Virginia to attend MOS training as a 1391, Bulk Fuel Specialist. 

In February 2001, Lance Corporal Rudolf reported to Combat Service Support Detachment 21, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, and served with Headquarters Squadron, Bulk Fuels Department.  During this tour of duty, he served as the Senior Laboratory Technician and Section Leader and reached the rank of Sergeant.

In October 2004 he received orders to Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. During his time with MWSS-171 he served as the Airfield Operations Platoon Sergeant, Embarkation Chief, Training Chief, and Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor, participating in exercises Foal Eagle, Cobra Gold, Southern Frontier, and many other smaller exercises throughout the IndoPacific region.

In July 2007 he received orders to the Basic Recruiter’s Course and was assigned to 9th Marine Corps Recruiting District, Recruiting Station Indianapolis, Indiana where he served as a Production Recruiter and Officer Selection Assistant. He was promoted to Staff Sergeant in November 2008. While on Recruiting Duty he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Park University in December 2009, and subsequently submitted for commissioning.

Prior to attending Officer Candidate School, he accepted orders to 8th Engineer Support Battalion, Camp LeJeune, North Carolina where he served as Bulk Fuel Company Training Chief until December 2010 when he was selected for the Enlisted Commissioning Program and reported to OCS. He accepted his commission on March 18, 2011, immediately following OCS graduation.

Following Officer Candidate School, and TBS graduation on October 2011, Second Lieutenant Rudolf received orders to Combat Logistics Battalion 6, Camp LeJeune, North Carolina via Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, in order to attend Logistics Officer’s Course and attain the 0402 MOS.  While with CLB 6 he served as a Motor Transportation Platoon Commander prior to volunteering to deploy to Camp Shorabak, Afghanistan in 2013 with the 3rd Mobile Strike Force-Security Forces Assistance Advisor Team under Regimental Combat Team 7.  While deployed he served as the Logistics Advisor to Afghan National Army’s 3rd Mobile Strike Force Kandak and Liaison Officer between Inter-Service and NATO partner nations. After returning from Deployment, he transferred back to CLB 6 where he served as the Transportation Support Company Detachment OIC, until the return of CLB 6 from deployment, and then as the Maintenance Services Company Executive Officer.

First Lieutenant Rudolf then executed orders to Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia in August 2014. While there he served as the Aerial Delivery Project Officer, and Team Lead for Reconnaissance and Amphibious Raids Product Team under the Infantry Weapons System Program Office. During this time, he also obtained the Aerial Delivery Officer, 0405 MOS, and the Acquisitions Professional Candidate, 8057 MOS.

In August 2017 Captain Rudolf executed orders to 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay Hawaii, to serve as the Battalion Logistics Officer.  During his time with V23 he deployed to Okinawa, Japan as part of the Unit Deployment Program rotation.  Following return from Okinawa he accepted orders to transfer to 3rd Marine Regiment in February 2019, where he served as the Assistant Regimental Logistics Officer and Regimental Maintenance Management Officer.

In July 2020 Captain Rudolf reported as a student for the Logistics Management curriculum at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Upon graduation he received the Material Management Officer, 8862 MOS, and executed orders to Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, Georgia where he served as the Military Deputy and Operations Officer within the Supply Chain Management Center.

In June 2025 Major Rudolf reported to Marine Force Storage Command aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany for assignment to his present duties as Executive Officer.

Major Rudolf’s personal awards include the Good Conduct Medal with two bronze stars in lieu of third award, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with two gold stars in lieu of third award, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars in lieu of third award, and the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Park University, and a Master of Business Administration, Material Logistics Support Management from the Naval Postgraduate School.
