Pheonix, Ariz. -- Marine Depot Maintenance Command (MDMC) wins Maintenance Innovation Challenge People’s Choice Award.
This is the second consecutive year MDMC has brought home a prize from the Maintenance Innovation Challenge during the Department of War Maintenance Symposium.
The award recognized the command’s Advanced Manufacturing Competitive Advantage Pathfinder and Digital Manufacturing Exchange initiative, and was presented by Col. Nicholas Lozar, commanding officer, Marine Depot Maintenance Command. The initiative was selected as one of five finalists from 59 submissions across the Department of War, industry, and academia.
Following the presentations, symposium attendees voted to recognize thier favorite of the 5 finakist presentations and they crowned Marine Depot Maintenance Command’s initiative for its impact on accelerating part availability, strengthening secure digital manufacturing, and improving readiness across the force.
The Digital Manufacturing Exchange enables trusted, configuration-controlled production of approved parts, even in disconnected or contested environments, helping reduce downtime and sustain operations at speed and scale.
The Maintenance Innovation Challenge highlights technologies and processes that strengthen readiness across the organic and defense industrial base. This recognition reflects the dedication, expertise, and collaboration of the entire Marine Depot Maintenance Command team.
