“The MDMC team has provided unmatched customer service in support of the USAF Cougar MRAP Program producing high quality, reliable weapon systems. The attention to detail and determination to put out quality products that protect the lives of our service members was evident at all levels from management to the highly skilled technicians. The Cougar reset team remained flexible in support of the evolving AF Cougar Depot needs transitioning from a full IROAN to a cost-saving, tailored maintenance approach for a sub-set of previously reset Cougars. The logistics team provided rapid support in obtaining material necessary for the maintenance of the Cougar vehicles. The technicians demonstrated an observable approach to process improvement and always produced assets in accordance with the highest quality shop practices”

Marine Depot Maintenance Command (MDMC) wins Maintenance Innovation Challenge People’s Choice Award.

This is the second consecutive year MDMC has brought home a prize from the Maintenance Innovation Challenge during the Department of War Maintenance Symposium.

The award recognized the command’s Advanced Manufacturing Competitive Advantage Pathfinder and Digital Manufacturing Exchange initiative, and was presented by Col. Nicholas Lozar, commanding officer, Marine Depot Maintenance Command. The initiative was selected as one of five finalists from 59 submissions across the Department of War, industry, and academia.

Following the presentations, symposium attendees voted to recognize thier favorite of the 5 finakist presentations and they crowned Marine Depot Maintenance Command’s initiative for its impact on accelerating part availability, strengthening secure digital manufacturing, and improving readiness across the force.

The Digital Manufacturing Exchange enables trusted, configuration-controlled production of approved parts, even in disconnected or contested environments, helping reduce downtime and sustain operations at speed and scale.

The Maintenance Innovation Challenge highlights technologies and processes that strengthen readiness across the organic and defense industrial base. This recognition reflects the dedication, expertise, and collaboration of the entire Marine Depot Maintenance Command team.
