Marine Corps Logisitics command

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY ADVISOR

All military and civilian personnel of Marine Corps Logistics Command are entitled to a professional environment that enables each individual to reach their full potential and be evaluated on merit. The command is committed to fostering a culture that promotes professional development, dignity and mutual respect across a diverse workforce. Upholding these standards is essential to maintaining organizational growth, discipline and moral integrity.

Leaders take deliberate and decisive action to prevent and respond to prohibited activities and conduct. The command enforces standards through two lines of effort, prevention and response, ensuring accountability, clarity and consistent adherence across the force.

Civilian personnel and staff noncommissioned officers serve as special staff, providing assistance, information and support to commanding generals, commanders, command teams and Marines on Military Equal Opportunity and Prohibited Activities and Conduct matters in accordance with MCO 5354.1G.

They serve as Marine Corps subject matter experts who have completed specialized training through the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute.

They manage the Equal Opportunity and Prohibited Activities and Conduct complaint reporting process, serve as CCA and DEOCS administrators, facilitate focus groups, provide training and coordinate directly with Equal Opportunity Coordinators at the unit level.
