Integration of MARCORLOGCOM Capabilities at the MLG

Brig. Gen. Maura M. Hennigan, commanding general, 2d Marine Logistics Group (2d MLG), along with members of her staff, visited Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM) at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Ga., on October 21, 2024.

The integration of MARCORLOGCOM capabilities into 2d Marine Logistics Group (MLG) is vital for enhancing operational readiness, streamlining communication, and fostering innovation within the Marine Corps. This collaboration facilitates valuable knowledge exchange and skill development amongst LOGCOMs support to 2d MLG.

The visit provided an overview of LOGCOM's capabilities and initiatives through briefings and tours, opened discussions on optimizing current integration efforts between MARCORLOGCOM and 2d MLG, and exploring additional opportunities for future collaboration.
