Marine Depot Maintenance Command Announces Civilian-Marine Awards

Marine Depot Maintenance Command (MDMC) announced their prestigious Civilian-Marine of the year Award winners for 2021. 

Christopher L. Dunn, industrial engineering technician, Production Plant Albany, was awarded MDMC’s civilian-Marine of the year.  

Richard Halstenburg, industrial engineering technician, Production Plant Barstow (PP-B) was named as PP-B’s civilian-Marine of the year.

MDMC’s workforce consists of approximately 1500 Marines and civilian-Marines. 

Dunn, who lives in Moultrie, began working as a mechanic with MDMC in 2008.

Halstenburg has been a Civilian-Marine for over 16 years, spending two of those years forward deployed to Afghanistan in support of the Joint Program Office, Afghanistan.

Headquartered at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Ga., MDMC is the Marine Corps’ ground equipment maintenance depot, and consists of two production plants, one in Albany, Ga., and one in Barstow, Calif.
