Executive Deputy, Marine Corps Logistics Command (Acting)

2012 – Present:  Director, Logistics Services Management Center – Leads  and provides global retail services program management and direct delivery facilities for Individual Combat Equipment, Chem Bio and special training gear. Integrates supply chain activities from OEM to consumer for weapons systems management.   

2007-2011:  Director, Supply Management Center Ground equipment Inventory Manager for the Marine Corps.  Led, planned and executed worldwide supply chain management activities for Principal End Items and Secondary Items (Inventory Control Point).   Managed depot level maintenance program and multiple major programs in direct support of Marine Corps readiness.   

2000-2006:  Director, Studies and Analysis Department for both Materiel Command and Logistics Command – As the Senior Analysis Officer led a robust analytics group, developed tools and delivered research and analysis. Led award winning team through development and implementation of MERIT, a cutting edge common operating picture tool that turned data into intelligence.  

1995 -1999:  Director, Storage and Distribution Directorate - Led an organization of over 500 people including both Fleet Support Divisions in their worldwide distribution functions. Managed the NBC test and evaluation program and was the logistics element manager for PHS&T.  Led a Supply Chain Management re-engineering effort across LOGCOM significantly reducing inventory.  

1993-1994:  Deputy Director, Fleet Support Division – Stood up the organization and led over 300 people in storage, maintenance and distribution of weapon systems for Marines around the globe. Managed multiple reimbursable joint service projects and the Marine Forces Reserve Technical Assistance Maintenance Team.    

1991-1992:  Director, Planning and Management Control Branch, Materiel Division – Performed resource management, industrial safety compliance, facilities planning and daily workload management for the receipt, storage, maintenance, distribution and transportation of Marine Corps wholesale weapon systems and repair parts.

1988-1991:  Director, Maintenance Data Analysis Center – Led analysts and conducted reliability, availability and maintainability analysis, cost studies and implemented numerous programs for managers across the command for emerging logistics concepts.  Developed Reliability Centered Maintenance tools and conducted provisioning effectiveness evaluations.

1983-1987:  Cooperative Education Student; Inventory Manager, Logistics Intern -   Began as Co-Op student and upon college graduation was recruited and promoted for superior academic performance.  As Inventory Manager, assisted fielding of the LAV.  As Logistics Intern, excelled in rotational assignments, classroom training and delivering results.  

Hails from Dayton, Tennessee. Holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee and a BBA in General Business from Georgia Southwestern University.  He is a Certified Professional Logistician by the International Society of Logistics
