Marine Corps Logistics Command G4

To direct Marine Corps Logistics Command’s operations, deliberate planning, future plans, and strategic management in order to provide required service and operational-level logistics capabilities maximizing Marine Corps readiness and sustainability.

The AC/S G4 coordinates with multiple centers within MARCORLOGCOM to support enterprise-wide initiatives from the Commanding General, Headquarters Marine Corps and all Operating Forces. Its Products and Services portfolio consists of the development of developing annual wall-to-wall Physical Inventory Control plans, execution and oversight of the Physical Inventory Control plan, is the Management Control Activity (MCA) for all Marine Corps ME on loan to other services or commercial organizations, and provides oversight and reporting of inventory performance.

G-4 Mission
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and reporting the physical inventory and maintenance requirements of all MARCORLOGCOM Military Equipment (ME) and Operating Materials and Supplies (OM&S) in the possession of organic storage, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and other third party Remote Storage Activities (RSAs) to ensure accurate accountability of ME/OM&S and associated materiel.
