Marine Corps Logistics Command Mission: “To provide worldwide, integrated logistics/supply chain and distribution management; maintenance management; and strategic prepositioning capability in support of the operating forces and other supported units to maximize their readiness and sustainability and to support enterprise and program level Total Life Cycle Management."
The Marine Depot Maintenance Command (MDMC) is an integral part of Marine Corps Logistics Command, and supports the war fighter by making the strategy of requirement fulfillment a tangible reality. The mission requirements are fulfilled between Production Plant Albany (PPA) and Production Plant Barstow (PPB). These plants provide complete rebuild or inspection and repair as necessary on all Marine Corps ground equipment.
